The centre, located in Whistler BC, embodies the spirit of partnership between the two First Nations and their shared values. It provides an interactive experience highlighting similarities and differences in the arts, current culture, history, culinary experiences and the environment. View Salish wool and cedar weavings, a variety of canoes, discover traditional harvesting techniques, watch a film on how the cultures came to be and experience a cultural performance or craft. The Scotia Creek Gallery at Millennium Place is home to Art Sea-to-Sky, a program initiated by Millennium Place in June 2001, to provide exhibit space for emerging local artists. Responses to a standing call for artists are accepted by our volunteer curator, and presented to a review panel for selection and scheduling. Displays are rotated monthly.
