Established by the Whistler Triathlon Club in 2005, the Kids of Steel Triathlon gives local youngsters the chance to show off their athletic skills. The race consists of a swim, bike ride and run, the lengths of which varies depending on age group. Prizes are awarded and the race is followed by a picnic.

Established in 1991, the annual Whistler Valley Trail Run sees participants, both locals and visitors, test their limits in a 5 km (3 mi) and a 10 km (6 mi) run. The day begins with a Teddy Bear Trot for kids and during the main race runners can drop the little ones off at the Kids Drop Zone. Snacks are offered after the event and prizes are awarded.

The weekend kicks off with a welcome reception Friday evening, complete with festive appetizers and the opportunity to meet with Chef Stufano. After a hearty Saturday breakfast in The Wildflower, move into your cooking class for the remainder of the morning. With all eyes on Chef Stufano at the front of the class, this is your chance to participate in an interactive food demonstration where holiday appetizers, mains and desserts will be prepared. Donning a chef hat and apron, you will have the opportunity try your own hand at carving a freshly roasted turkey before sitting down to a holiday lunch. During the afternoon wine pairing seminar, sample a variety of wines and learn how to best pair them with different dishes. Saturday evening will wrap up with a decadent three-course dinner served in the Wine Room, hosted by Chef Stufano.

2nd Annual Whistler CAAP (Cancer Awareness and Preveniton) Walk. Dusty's to Dusty's, 25km loop of the beautiful Whistler Valley Trail. With the option of a 5km or 12km loop.

The Kathy Barnett Endowment Fund was created in 2008 in memory of Kathy Barnett, a former Whistler resident who co-founded the Pique Newsmagazine, was a founding director of the Community Foundation of Whistler. The Kathy Barnett Leadership Luncheon supports leadership grants to women living the Sea to Sky Corridor who are looking to improve their skills for the betterment of the community.
